The detail

The Digital Health Check is for any business with a website that has a feeling something is off, without knowing what or how much it matters. A person reviews speed, security headers, search and AI-answer basics, email setup and data protection basics, and you walk away with a short written report: what we found, why it matters to your business and what to fix first.

What is the difference between the free check and the full check?

Start with the free health check if you like. It is automated: in about a minute it scores your site and shows your top three fixes, and it emails you the full report.

This full check goes deeper. A person at TechSum looks at the same areas with your business in mind, checks what an automated scan cannot judge, and explains what matters first and why. It is written down so that you, your developer or your agency can act on it.

What does the Digital Health Check look at?
  • Speed. How fast your key pages load and respond on a phone, using Core Web Vitals as the measure.
  • Security headers. The settings that tell browsers how to treat your site, and whether the basics are in place.
  • SEO and AEO basics. Whether Google can read and index your pages, and whether AI assistants can find, understand and quote you. AEO, Answer Engine Optimisation, means being the answer those assistants give. See AEO and GEO.
  • Email setup. Whether your mail is authenticated with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, which affects whether your messages reach inboxes. See email deliverability.
  • DPDP basics. Whether your site shows a clear notice, asks for consent properly and handles cookies sensibly under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).
How does the check run?

You send us the website address and the email domain. We run the checks, review the findings by hand and write the report. The price is fixed and agreed before we start. We may ask a question or two along the way if something is unclear.

What do you walk away with?

A short written report in plain language, not tool output. Each finding says what we saw, why it matters to your business and what to change, with the fixes listed in priority order. It is yours to keep, whoever you choose to do the work.

What happens after the check?

Some findings are quick to fix yourself, and the report says which. Others open a wider piece of work. Speed and site problems lead to Web Design & Development, hosting and email issues to Digital Infrastructure, and visibility gaps to Search & Answer Visibility. Data protection findings lead to Trust, Security & Compliance, where we implement and partner counsel advises on legal questions.

Is this right for you?

It suits any live website, from a small business site to a growing platform. If you have no site yet, a Product Discovery Sprint or a conversation is a better starting point. Ready to see where you stand? Start with a health check.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

What is the difference between the free check and the Digital Health Check?

The free health check is automated. In about a minute you get a score and your top three fixes, and the full report arrives by email. The Digital Health Check is the deeper version: a person reviews the same areas with your business in mind, explains what matters and why, and writes it up in a short report.

What do I need to give you?

The address of your website and the domain you use for email. If you have analytics or a consent tool, tell us which. We do not need logins for the main review.

Will you fix the problems you find?

Only if you want us to. The report stands on its own and you can hand it to anyone. If you would like us to do the fixes, we will tell you which discipline covers each one and how we would approach it.

Does the DPDP part count as legal advice?

No. We check the basics a website can show, such as notices, consent and cookies. Partner counsel advises on legal interpretation.
