This policy explains what personal data TechSum Digital Solutions collects through techsum.digital, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act). Last updated 30 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your personal data?
TechSum Digital Solutions, Pune, Maharashtra, India, is the data controller. The DPDP Act calls this role the Data Fiduciary. You can reach us at contact@techsum.digital.
Company registration number: pending. Registered address: pending.
What personal data do we collect, and why?
We collect only what each purpose needs.
- Contact form: your name and email, and, if you choose to give them, your website, what you need, your timeline and how you heard about us. We also record the page you wrote from and any campaign tags in the link you used (UTM parameters and referrer). We use this to reply to you and to understand which pages bring enquiries.
- Free health check: the website address you enter, your email, and your name if you give it. We use these to run the scan, show you the result, email you the full report and, if you ask, follow up. The address you enter is fetched by our server and sent to Google's PageSpeed Insights service for the speed test.
- Messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp: whatever you share, used to answer you and to run any project we agree.
- Analytics: only if you accept analytics on our cookie banner. See the cookie policy.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic request details in server logs and in rate limiting, to keep the site secure and stop abuse of the health check.
We do not ask for sensitive data such as financial account numbers or government identity numbers through this website.
How do notice and consent work?
Before we collect personal data, we tell you in plain language what it is for. Where we rely on your consent, we ask for it for that specific purpose, and we do not use the data for anything else without asking again.
- When you send an enquiry or run a health check, you give us the data for that purpose and we use it for that purpose.
- Analytics cookies stay off until you accept them. Declining is the default.
- You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@techsum.digital. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. It does not affect what we did with your data before you withdrew.
Who do we share personal data with?
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and answer you, and with authorities when the law requires it.
- Our email delivery service, Resend, which sends our replies and notifications.
- Our hosting and database provider: name pending.
- Google, for the PageSpeed Insights test in the health check, and for Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager if you accept analytics.
Some providers process data outside India. The DPDP Act allows transfers outside India except to countries the Government of India restricts by notification, and we will comply with any such restriction.
How long do we keep personal data?
We keep personal data only as long as the purpose needs, then erase it or make it anonymous.
- Enquiries: for as long as it takes to handle the enquiry and any work that follows. Specific period: pending.
- Health check reports: pending.
- Analytics data: the retention period set in Google Analytics, currently pending.
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as accounting records, for the period the law sets.
What are your rights under the DPDP Act?
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how we use it, and who we have shared it with (right to access information);
- correct, complete or update it, or erase it when you withdraw consent or when it is no longer needed for its purpose (right to correction and erasure);
- address a complaint about how we have handled your data (right of grievance redressal);
- name another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act for yourself (right to nominate).
To use any of these rights, email contact@techsum.digital with the subject line "Data request" and tell us what you would like. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. We will reply within a period we will confirm after legal review: pending.
The Act also asks you to give accurate information, not to impersonate anyone and not to make false or frivolous complaints.
How do I make a complaint?
Our grievance contact is below. Please write to us first, and we will work to resolve it.
- Grievance officer: name pending
- Email: contact@techsum.digital
- Post: TechSum Digital Solutions, Pune, Maharashtra, India
If we have not resolved your complaint, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India. The Act expects you to use our grievance process first.
Do you collect data from children?
This website is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. The DPDP Act requires verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before processing a child's data. If you think a child has sent us data, tell us and we will erase it.
How do we protect personal data?
We use reasonable security safeguards, such as encrypted connections and restricted access to the systems that hold enquiries. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and the affected people as the Act requires.
Will this policy change?
Yes, when our practices or the law change. We will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will ask for consent again.
