Professional services

TechSum designs, builds and looks after websites for consultancies, recruitment firms and other professional services businesses. The site shows real work, explains the specialism plainly, and takes a complete brief without a phone call.

The problems we hear most, and what changes

Each one came up in the work on this page. First the problem, then what is different once it is solved.
  • A services firm sells trust, and a generic site gives a buyer nothing to trust. The site shows real work and plain facts on the first screen.

  • Briefs arrive by phone and email, half complete. A brief form asks who, what, where and by when, and saves every brief.

  • Each area of expertise is buried on one services page that buyers never find. Every practice gets its own page a buyer can search for.

  • A firm working across markets has to explain different rules in each one. The rules for each market are set out where a buyer can read them.

  • Journals and city pages stop growing because every new page needs a developer. The team publishes new pages itself.

A site a hiring manager can trust on the first screen: a page for each of 14 disciplines, the rules for each market, a brief form, and a jobs board where every role has its own code, all on a CMS the firm controls.

TechSum works with consultancies, recruitment firms and other professional services businesses on websites that show real work, explain a specialism clearly and take a proper brief.

What changes for a services firm?

A buyer of services decides on trust. They look for proof that the firm has done this before, a plain description of what it does, and a way to start without a long call. When the site gives them all three, the first conversation starts with a complete brief instead of a round of basic questions. For a firm that works across several markets, the site also says which rules apply where, before anyone has to ask.

Which professional services projects have we done?

  • Built On Intent: a founder-led studio that builds websites, search visibility and AI systems. Its site looks like a focused studio and shows work, a journal and city pages.
  • Comnet Corporation: a specialist IT talent firm. A page for each discipline, a markets and compliance section, a brief form and a jobs board with its own role codes.

Why one team for all of it?

The website, the brief form, the jobs board, the search setup and the brand all speak for the firm, so they should not come from four vendors who never talk. One team designs, builds and looks after all of them.

AI is built into how we work, so a small team covers the ground of a large one, and the time saved goes into the parts that need judgment.

If you run a professional services firm and want a site that does more than introduce you, tell us what you need.

Common questions

Can a consultancy website take a proper brief?

Yes. For Comnet Corporation the brief form checks every entry, limits repeat submissions and saves each brief in the CMS. Consent boxes are never pre-ticked, so every brief arrives with a clear yes.

Can you build a jobs board for a recruitment firm?

Yes. Comnet's jobs board filters roles by market, discipline, type and keyword. Every role gets a code that cannot be edited by hand, and each role page carries structured data so search engines can show it as a job.

Can you help a new consultancy look established?

We help a new firm show real work and plain facts, which is what makes a buyer trust it. For Built On Intent we tested five design directions and built the chosen one as a fast static site with a work wall and a journal.

Tell us the problem in plain words.

You don't need a brief or the right technical terms. Describe what is slowing your business down, and a person on the team will reply with what would actually help.
