The Path
Deliberate
by design.
This is the TechSum web development process: a project delivery timeline refined over four years and sixty-plus engagements by our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Each phase is a commitment we document, not a formality we recite. No surprises, only precision.
A cycle, not a finish line
The five phases below are not a straight line from kickoff to done. Evolve is not an ending, it returns to Understand, because the market keeps moving and the business keeps changing around what we built. This is the process a long term partner repeats, engagement after engagement, not a project that ships once and stops.
The full cycle
Tap or hover a phase to see what it delivers. The accent arrow marks the turn from Evolve back into Understand, where the next cycle begins.
Before design begins, we study your business, your users, your market, and the distance between where you are and where you need to be. This groundwork sets the terms for everything that follows, so we do not shorten it.
- •Discovery Call & Project BriefA structured conversation about your goals, constraints, and definition of success. You leave with a documented brief, not just meeting notes.
- •Market & Competitor LandscapeWe map your position relative to the market and identify the space your product or brand can occupy that competitors have left open.
- •User Research & Journey MappingWe study who will use what we build: their needs, their friction points, and the moments that decide whether the experience works.
Discovery becomes a blueprint: architecture decisions, design direction, technology choices, and a timeline you can hold us to. Most projects succeed or fail at this stage, before a single screen is built.
- •Technical ArchitectureWe select the stack suited to your scale and your existing systems, not the most fashionable option. The technology stays invisible to your users and your team.
- •Wireframes & Information ArchitectureStructural blueprints precede any visual design, so the logic of the product is settled before its aesthetics are.
- •Project Scope & TimelineA detailed scope document with milestones, deliverables, and review checkpoints, so you always know what is due and when.
This is the phase most agencies compress. We do not. Every screen and every line of code is reviewed against a single standard, regardless of budget or timeline.
- •Design System & Visual DirectionTypography, colour, spacing, and interaction, defined before the first screen is designed, so every element belongs to the same family.
- •Sprint-Based DevelopmentTwo-week sprints with working demos, so you track progress against the plan, not against a promise made at kickoff.
- •AI-Augmented DeliveryOur senior team uses AI tools for the first pass on code, content, and QA, then reviews and signs off on every output by hand. A six-week build compresses to three, with no drop in the standard we hold ourselves to.
Launch is a checkpoint, not a finish line. We run quality assurance across devices, browsers, and edge cases before anything reaches a live audience.
- •Cross-Device QA & Performance AuditWe test against real devices, not simulations alone. Speed, accessibility, and edge cases are cleared before go-live, with results documented for your record.
- •Handover & DocumentationYou receive every source file, credential, and a recorded walkthrough. Nothing is withheld, and nothing depends on us to keep running.
A digital product is never finished. It is maintained, measured, and evolved as the market shifts and the business grows around it.
- •Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)Ongoing updates, uptime monitoring, security patches, and performance tuning, tracked through a client portal so every action is on record.
- •Monthly Tech Partner RetainersDevelopment hours, strategy calls, and priority support on a predictable monthly cadence, for teams that want a technology partner, not a vendor revisited once a year.
Our Commitment
We deliver what we
commit to. Nothing less.
If we commit to a timeline, we meet it. If something changes, we tell you as soon as we know. That is how a digital agency works long after launch too, and it is why our AMC and ongoing maintenance plans carry the same standard forward. If a request falls short of the standard it deserves, we say so before any invoice is raised.
